Hygoshop for Amazon
If you sell on Amazon Seller Central, Hygoshop's adapter for the Amazon SP-API syncs your catalog and orders into the canonical model — which means Studio's content generation, agent-readiness scoring, and reorder workflows all work on your Amazon catalog the same way they work on Shopify.
What we use SP-API for
- Catalog Items API — sync product listings into Hygoshop's canonical model.
- Orders API — pull order history for reorder + analytics workflows.
- Listings Items API — push back enrichments (description, bullet points) generated by Studio. Subject to Amazon's content policies — restricted categories route through operator review first.
- Reports API — periodic full-catalog refresh on a cron (default daily; configurable up to hourly on Augment+ tiers).
Notification destinations
SP-API uses SQS queues for push notifications (orders, listing changes). On install, Hygoshop registers a per-merchant SQS destination scoped to that merchant only. We don't fan out notifications across merchants on a shared queue.
Restricted categories on Amazon
Amazon has stricter content rules than most channels — supplements, health products, financial services, alcohol, firearms all require additional substantiation. Hygoshop's claim-validation library flags these categories automatically; restricted-category content routes through operator review before being pushed to your Amazon listings.
Data we store
- Catalog mirror (ASINs, listing attributes) for performance.
- Order history (13 months).
- SP-API credentials (encrypted, per merchant).
What we don't do
- No direct Amazon advertising buys via the API. Your spend on Sponsored Products / Brands is separate from Hygoshop.
- No FBA inventory shipments — only inventory level reads.
- No A+ Content modifications — that's a manual workflow today; we may add it in a future release if merchant demand justifies.
