Hygoshop for TikTok
TikTok is where short-form video drives discovery for the next generation of buyers. Hygoshop's Studio generates video assets (image-driven slideshows in the first round; native video generation lands in a follow-up release) and publishes them to your TikTok Business account.
What we use TikTok's API for
- Login Kit (
user.info.basic) — identity binding for the TikTok Business account. We don't read DM, contacts, or non-public content. - Content Posting API (
video.publish,video.upload) — publish merchant-approved video content to the merchant's account.
Submission ordering
We submit Login Kit first; once approved, we add Content Posting in a follow-up review. TikTok Shop integration lands later — we'll add a section here when that capability ships.
How merchants control it
- Connect once via OAuth; revocable from TikTok Settings → Privacy → Connected Apps → HygoShop.
- Every publish is explicit. We never auto-post.
- Captions go through Hygoshop's claim-validation library — superlatives like "guaranteed", "FDA-approved", "best ever" are flagged for operator review automatically.
Data we store
- OAuth tokens (encrypted, scoped per connection).
- Published video metadata (id, scheduled-for, published-at).
